Simple control volume how to ? No buttons and Did I get the wrong remote

How do I get volume there’s no buttons on the simple remote I guess. The box says express 5k

The Express 4k+ comes with the voice remote with TV controls.  The least expensive Express model does not.  Right now the Express 4k+ is on sale for only $5 more than the base model and it's well worth paying the extra 5 bucks.

There was, (maybe still is) a Roku Express 4K without the + (model 3940).  I believe the only difference between the 4K+ (3941) and 4K was the remote.  Those were originally $5 apart.

Banned but back. Because why not?
