I've followed all the levels of instruction except Restore factory settings. Roku keeps just going dead -- remote has no effect on it at all. It worked for a couple of weeks. What can I do?

I sent you the number from the device itself, but my account on Roku site has a different number. On your website my SN is X02500FGDUFW
i am deeply confused and frustrated w Roku
I have no sound. The serial number of my streaming player is 12A199124010. Please tell me how to fix this.
I'm losing patience with Roku posting NO PROGRESS on solving the problem. This is now a MONTHS OLD OPEN ISSUE.
I don't appreciate being ghosted.
I suspect that Roku has either a bad remote PCB design that's not fixable OR there's a manufacturing issue which shipped a LARGE bad batch of remotes -- and Roku can't acknowledge the issue.
Ghosting your customers is the perfect way to destroy the reputation of the brand.
Either get affected customers new remotes OR refund the cost of the now unreliable Roku device.
Own up to the issue.
But the silence isn't helping.
