I have purchased the Roku Voice Remote on October 1st 2024. After purchasing it at Walmart and taking it home to pair it to my Roku TV the hands free and mic button would not work. After leaving it alone for a few minutes it worked. Then after leaving it alone for about 30 minutes and coming back it yet again would not work. I have restarted my TV, unpaired and repaired the remote to my TV. I have held the back and home button for 20 seconds and still have been unsuccessful at getting these functions to work. I am very disappointed in this, we bought this as we were excited to use the hands free voice commands.

Before we proceed, please let us know which Roku TV model or player this remote is paired with. Also, is this the original remote that came with it?
We also suggest resetting your Roku remote by pressing and holding the Back and Home buttons simultaneously for about 20 seconds. After doing so, pair it again and try using the voice command feature to see if this makes any difference.
In the meantime, you may install the Roku mobile app as an alternative to your physical remote. This works well with your Roku streaming device, which has a voice command feature.

The model number is 100044717 it is a 75” Roku TV. This is not the original remote that the TV came with but states it works with all Roku TV’s. I have tried to reset the remote as stated in my post before this.
