My roku remote just stopped as well and only powering the tv.

@Lynn93, did you try pairing it again?  Unplug the power from your Roku device, press and hold the pairing button on the back or inside the battery compartment until the light starts flashing and then plug the power back in.

Don't rule out dead batteries.  The TV controls work differently than the Roku controls.
