Have been a very content user of Streaming Stick (3600RW) until recently when 2 of the arrows quit responding altogether. Was shocked to find a simple replacement cannot be found in Roku store or Amazon (all remotes "not compatible w/ streaming stick"). No equivalent for simple remote model RC120. I have no interest in a voice remote or any such "upgrade"; also can't sub with cellphone app. as I have never owned a cellphone. How can this fine streaming stick be considered such an archaic relic that Roku customers may not simply purchase a replacement? There must be loads of them gathering dust in the warehouse somewhere. Any insights would be appreciated; feel like I am seeking the Holy Grail rather than a simple remote.
The "Voice Remote" (or Pro) is the replacement:

The "Simple Remote" is IR-only (Sticks require WiFi Direct/Point Anywhere remotes).

Thanks for the reply but I was referring to the "simple" remote that came with my streaming stick, regardless of multi-directional capacity. No use for the pricier one with voice, TV controls, etc. Just want to locate the model (or equivalent) that came in the box with my stick. Model #RC 120
The TV/AVR power/volume control buttons are very handy - though you arent required to use those or the voice functionality.
You may be able to find something on Ebay.
I suggest you try this page for any offers from roku to replace your old 3600:

The remote that came with your 3600 is not a "simple" remote. It is a WiFi Direct remote, same as the voice remote that was mentioned already. The voice remote is the replacement for your existing remote, and no you can't use a universal remote as a replacement. Those are IR based, and as mentioned you can't use an IR remote on a Roku Stick (any model). They are all WiFi Direct only.
I had the same problem and was told by Roku they only sell voice remotes. I got two but they are both terrible and don't work with my 3600 stick, although they do work to shut my tv on and off. I'm about to quit roku after 5 years of being a customer.
So you have three remotes thsat don't work with your very old 3600 stick, then tells us there something wrong with the stick not remotes. Replace the 3600 stick, upgrade to the express 4k+ which is on sale for $30.

If the remotes were to go bad then a cheap universal remote would work on the express 4k+ since it accepts IR commands.
Yeah, finally had to buy the voice remote to control my 3600 stick due to the still-unexplained unavailability of the replacement for the remote that came with my streaming stick. Even though it does control the .3600 stick, I had no desire to pay for uneeded extra features. The volume and on/off buttons are just in the way, considering I still have to alternate with the TV remote anyway to change input to live antenna TV and change channels, etc.
If you want an original 3600 stick remote you have to go used on ebay, like this one:
