I just mgcyvered a kitchen TV setup for my wife for christmas. I bought this monitor that has speakers and a remote. All of the TVs were too small for our space, so this was perfect.
But this rather obscure chinese brand I found on amazon isn't listed in the brands to pair the roku remote to control the TV. Here is the link: https://www.amazon.com/HTNZIR-Monitor-Portable-Desktop-Speakers/dp/B0C496HBFK
I tried posting a question in the Amazon page but I haven't received an answer yet. Thanks so much for your help!

Roku only offers IR control for TVs. You don't "pair" an IR remote, but the remote does need to know what IR codes to use. That monitor you purchased might use an IR code set that matches a TV in the Roku remote's database, but it's doubtful anyone here might know what code set would work. The Roku remote is not a "learning" remote, so you can't teach it from the remote that came with your monitor.
Thanks so much! That helps me to understand it better. I did actually get a response to my amazon question and they gave me the code "6121- 00bF" and then each button on the monitor remote was given a number.
Is there any way to manually input that code into the roku TV remote setup, do you know?

No, the remote cannot be programmed at that level. All you can do is determine if some existing TV code that is already programmed into the remote will control your display.
When I search around for that code (in quotes) I get matches. Most of them are on Romanian websites selling remotes for TV brands I have never heard of such as NEI. Now the next question, is whether you can find NEI or any of the others in the menu of a product sold in the US or can you relate NEI to something better-known here?
Maybe @Tivoburkee can come up with something.
