Okay button probably just worn out

Jump to solution

After searching for my issue, I realize I am lucky in a way. I’ve had my remote for awhile after my first one wore out. And once again, I believe I have merely worn out my remote’s okay button.  A simple problem to resolve. At first I changed the batteries, but my okay button still was hard to activate. I will get my third replacement remote directly from Roku. Happy viewing to you

Hi, @deblwood

Thanks for posting here in the Roku Community!

We see that you're having an issue with your Roku remote. Please try our Roku remote troubleshooting steps and see if they help:

In the meantime, you may install the Roku mobile app as an alternative to your physical remote while we wait for the replacement to be shipped. This is a free application for iOS and Android devices that turns your mobile device into a control center for your Roku streaming player or Roku TV system. The mobile app's Remote feature allows you to use your phone or tablet as a Roku remote.

Hope this helps!
