@WeirdJack if you are getting voice announcements that describes your Roku remote actions, then you haven't turned them off. If instead you are getting voice announcements that match the content you are viewing, that is coming from the app you're using, or perhaps it's a voice guide in your TV itself. The Roku voice guide works exactly as described here, and if you are still hearing voice guidance with the Roku settings off, then it's not coming from the Roku itself.
