Unlike Roku devices that don't allow tv oem remotes to control them, Firestick do via cec. It has to be enabled in the Firestick settings. It usually is an IR oem tv remote controlling the Firestick via cec, don't know if Roku wifi remote controlling a Roku tv will pass on cec to Firestick?
