I have restarted my system for software update (no change in software #)

In the meantime Roku should pay for all the batteries the faulty remote is draining.

I've tried every solution presented with no results so have given up on the Roku Streaming Stick.

Has anything been done with the draining remote batteries? I’ve done the update and all the things but it’s still draining it once a week.

It looks like you provided the details of your remote. Please reply here with the serial number of your Roku device associated with the affected remote. It can be found at the back or underneath the player itself. We'll be able to further assist you from there.
