I have restarted my system for software update (no change in software #)
Serial: YH001C351821
Model: 3810x
In the meantime Roku should pay for all the batteries the faulty remote is draining.
I've tried every solution presented with no results so have given up on the Roku Streaming Stick.

Has anything been done with the draining remote batteries? I’ve done the update and all the things but it’s still draining it once a week.
