We will be more than happy to take a closer look into this issue that you're having. Could you tell us how you are powering your Roku device? Is it connected to the USB port of the TV or to a wall outlet? The USB power that the TV supplies may not always be enough to power the device. Insufficient power can cause instability, crashes, and other unpredictable behavior, even though your Roku device may appear to be functioning. We advise plugging your Roku into a functional wall outlet using the supplied power cord and power adapter. You won't need to turn on your Roku player every time you turn on your TV if you power it from a wall socket, which is an added benefit.

I'm at the same issue. But my remote broke n has been tossed out. I have the roku remote app. How can I get it connected if I can't get past let's get started?
