Remote does not start the Roku device

When I press the power on button on My Express 4K+ remote it starts the TV but the blue light on the Roku device does not come on and it doesn't start up.  If I unplug the USB power cord to the Roku and plug it back in the remote will work properly after the device reboots.  

I've resynced the device and remote and it didn't help.

The power button on the remote is strictly for the TV - Roku devices don't turn off.  Your Roku device may have gone into power saving mode.  Press Home on the remote a couple of times to wake it.
