We can certainly understand your concern that you want to know if you can set up the Roku Smart Bulb SE outside.

Please be advised that you can install a Roku Smart Bulb practically anywhere, most preferably inside your house.

Note: Do not use your smart bulbs:

With a dimmer switch
When directly exposed to water
In a narrow or poorly ventilated fixture
As emergency lighting
