Bought a basic Roku stick months ago. The screen mirroring was fantastic. I have a basic iPhone.
All of a sudden, when I play videos, I have recorded. there is no sound.
There is no sound.
When I play videos on Facebook now there is no sound.
Somehow, when I screen mirror YouTube from my phone there is sound.
I see to go into audio settings and change it to stereo. Did that —not fixed
there’s no audio is all over Google and this page so please Roku tell us what the friggin fix is. This is infuriating.
I have the very same issue. I am researching but so far have found no solution.

It's a simple and basic fix: turn the volume down on your phone or tablet and turn it up on your Roku. Restart the devices. Try restarting both your phone and Roku device.

Still no audio what do I do.. reset both devices multiple times but whenever I'm screen mirroring there is no audio...

Using the Roku remote, press * and then change Audio from Leveling or Night to Off. Once Audio was changed to Off, sound from the iPhone began to work.
This is happening to me - I was able to get sound consistently for a month then it stopped and I can’t get it going again.

Please let us know what troubleshooting steps you have tried. Also, could you specify when the issue occurred—was it before or after the update? Kindly provide the software version of your Roku device, which you can find under Settings > System > About. When you encounter the issue, press the Home button five times, followed by the Back button five times, and provide us with the Tracker ID.
