I wanted to chime in since I also have an LG OLED and been a Roku user since release of the second generation models. That said, I've never seen FIVE builds of new OS released in a 2-3 week period like they have with OS12. I'm in the SF Bay area and received the fifth one about a week ago. My AVR supports Atmos but not Dolby Vision though I never experience Atmos using the recommended Auto/Passthrough settings for Audio. The bug that I've found most prevalent is exiting YouTube which while sporadic has yet to be addressed. Hope you got the Dolby Vision thing squared away
This company is terribly ineffective. I cannot believe that there is no way to report a bug. No wonder the stock is worth $3
I have the same display problems since the SW 12.0 SW upgrade with a similar configuration.
My screen reverts into 3 basic colors: White, Purple, and Green. Rebooting fixes briefly but then it reverts again, particularly when using Netflix but also other channels. Power savings aren't enabled, and system only shuts down if triggered manually.
Roku Ultra 4800X, Serial X01000VHKAJ5 SW 12.0.0 build 4184-C2 Device ID 502A208HKAJ5
LG OLED55C7P SW 06.10.30 In Deep Color, Dolby Vision.
Display is automatically choosing "Automatic 1080p Dolby Vision". This is confusing as Dolby Vision is 4k, so why does it say 1080p, unless it means it is using 1080p when Dolby Vision isn't supported by the video service. I am not able to switch Display setting to Dolby Vision HDR as it says the refresh rate is only 30Mhz and therefore not recommended. I don't remember if this was an issue before 12.0 upgrade. Adjust Display Refresh is set to OFF (have tried ON and OFF but display problem has issues with both settings).
