Thanks for letting us know about the trouble you've encountered on your Roku TV and the steps you took to resolve it.

Can you provide us with a screenshot of the issue you are experiencing?

In this case, we recommend performing a factory reset on your Roku TV that may resolve the issue you are experiencing. Please note that resetting a Roku device erases all its settings, apps, and account data, essentially returning it to factory conditions.

You can follow the steps below to perform a factory using the physical button on your Roku TV.

1. Locate the reset button on your Roku device, which is usually on the back or bottom. The physical Reset button is either tactile or has a pinhole design that requires a straightened paper clip.
   

2. Ensure your Roku TV is powered on.

3. Press and hold the reset button for exactly 10 seconds.

4. Watch for a fast-blinking light, indicating that the reset is in progress.

5. Once the light blinks at a normal rate, release the button.

After a successful factory reset, your Roku device will restart in the same state as a factory-new device.

I tried a random weird fix. My tv kept on restarting after couple of minutes. 

I used a usb to usb c cable and hocked up my ipad to it. It stoped restarting. 

Everything else failed, reset restart, factory reset, nothing worked.

I had the same problem with my onn Roku tv. It ended up being the remote. If I took the batteries out of the remote and manually turned the tv on it was fine. As soon as I put the batteries back in the tv started rebooting. My best guess is the power button is stuck in the remote or something.

That sounds really frustrating! Try performing a hard reset by holding down the reset button on the TV for about 10-15 seconds while it's plugged in. If that doesn't work, you might want to reach out to Roku support for further repair options. Hopefully, it gets fixed soon!

I’m also facing the same issue with my Roku TV—it keeps freezing and randomly restarting. Sometimes the screen just goes black like a shutter effect before rebooting. Definitely frustrating, especially for a new device!

Just bought this ROKU TV a couple of weeks ago.  It turns on an off by it self.  I am not in the room sometimes when this happens, so I know it is not an accidental button hit.  It also changes volume on its own.  If I am not in the room when this occurs by the time I get back to the remote, the volume is very high.  I am afraid it will damage the speakers.  I dont know if it is the TV or the remote that has the problem, or maybe both.

1. Power cycle the Roku TV: Unplug and plug it from the power source.
2. Try switching to another power outlet.
3. Reset the network connection of the Roku TV

Hello I’m currently having this issue woke up one morning and tv just flashes screen off and on Roku logo shows then turns off tried all the reset things on tv was this issue solved for you or did you just replace your tvs

My TCL 55" TV keeps on restated i have tried all suggested responses

- restarted

- factory reset

- most resent software update 

nothing works, having no clue or solution on this problem
