Emman,

The soundbar is connected to a non-Roku TV. The subwoofer, Model 9201X has a Serial Number on the back of R539CV177740 and a FCC ID: TC2-R1033. I cannot get a "Device ID" unless the subwoofer is synced to the soundbar.

I am still waiting for any solution to this problem. The subwoofer pairing still hangs on "Updating Subwoofer" and never starts a percentage progress. The soundbar software has not updated since Oct 11 which is what caused the issue.

I'm having the same issue.  Sub has worked fine for years.  Roku Plus tv, Roku sound bar and wireless speakers.  I've tried factory resetting multiple time and the TV can no longer find the sub.  The light on the sub blinks to indicate pairing mode, but the Roku can't find it.

Same issue since Sunday, two back speakers and subwoofer will say updating then fail to pair. They had been working for atleast two years prior

It has been over 2 months now that my subwoofer gets stuck at "updating subwoofer" and will not complete pairing. There have not been any Roku software updates since Oct 11th. Please fix this Roku, or I will be forced to give up on the Smart Soundbar that I have really enjoyed. I will also make sure that all the AV forums I belong to know that Roku doesn't support their older products and has a habit of crippling devices with updates.

I just got my subwoofer and back speakers to update and pair after a week, i had already went to system settings and got an update on the tv, but i switched to the actual soundbar (dont know if you have roku soundbar) and made it check for a software update in the settings, there was one. After the software update on the soundbar I was able to pair the speakers and subwoofer to the soundbar again

I have the original Roku Smart Soundbar, not the one designed to use with Roku TVs. No software update for me as of a few minutes ago. Still on 14.0.4 build 12221 from back in October. I still can't get the subwoofer to pair. Sticks on "Updating" and errors out.

I’m wondering if Roku just isn’t updating your soundbar anymore if it’s old, my update was from this month and is 14.1.4, and as soon as I updated the soundbar (why it wasn’t doing it automatically I don’t know) then it stopped getting stuck updating the sub and speakers

I have the Roku Smart Soundbar, it's not connected anymore because I replaced it with Roku Streambar Pro, which still hasn't upgraded to 14.1.4.
