Same for me. One year old Roku Streambar started crackling and buzzing distortion on left channel (left when facing the Roku). It went away for a few days, now it is back again, and reboot/power cycling not fixing it. I turned off the Bass in Audio settings, and the distortion has stopped, but audio is just tinny now, obviously.
