Having same issue as others....sound drops, crackles, etc. Sometimes it drops for like 20-30 minutes and comes back. I've tried all the suggestions from the the How To Fix A/V Synch Error support page and problem persists. I've reset the Streambar numerous times, made sure it's software is up to date, checked all cables, including unplugging and replugging them in firmly, etc. I'm pretty good with technology, but this has me quite frustrated. It's also worth mentioning that it's a problem that recently developed.

This appears to be a known problem, so is this a defect? Also, since it's out of the warranty period, do you offer repairs for a fee? If so, what's the cost.

Wow. Same issue as well. Was coming to get a fix. Crackly audio, sometimes very low. Occasionally will go super high volume out of nowhere. Is this a known issue? It's been happening on & off for a year now.
It appears to be a known issue and from my chat with Roku, they have some sort of work around until some day when they decide to do a software update to fix it. But the work around turns off other features you may be using. I recommend contacting them, but it’s extremely disappointing to say the least. A product this expensive should work better.
Same problem here. Also the streambar pro seems to be starving for memory and or cpu. How do I get the audio issues resolved? Tried all the suggestions.

I’ve been having the same crackle issues and volume dropping off. I noticed it about a month ago but it comes and goes so inconsistently it’s hard to say. It seems mainly this is a problem with Netflix for me.
I had this same problem about a year ago and was sent a new model but now after having this one for a year it’s having the same problems
