I have no idea why you feel the need to cape for Roku and mock me. This behavior is Roku specific no other device does this.
Roku has publicly worked with the renamed Morality in Media to remove porn. You can read about it in news articles and press releases from the renamed Morality in Media. It's not a stretch to assume their racist censorship is aslo a result of their collaboration with Christian dominionists.
Even if it's not it is annoying and pretty clearly racist.
Again, Google wrote the app, so even if Google thinks they wrote something because Roku forced them to write it, they’ll know they did it.
On the porn there is no mystery there. A few seconds with the docs I linked earlier shows: “You will not provide or use materials in connection with this Agreement, including within Your Properties, that Roku determines:” … “(c) constitute pornography”. Easy-peasy. I leave it to you to find where your isms/ists are required of channel developers, since you have more interest in that than I do. At least it’s handy to have the docs before contacting Google, so if they claim that Roku made them do it, you can ask them to point out which clause in the agreement required that.
Sorry, I thought I was having fun with you on all these ists! I really thought forcing Roku to be more pantisocratist was pretty good!

OK. Pulled up this playlist in my browser to see what is on it, then started to play the songs from this playlist on my Roku. I played the first 8 songs - major pain entering them all into search using the on-screen virtual keyboard. They all played with no "do you wish to proceed" prompt.
Are there only certain songs beyond the first 8 songs on the list that trigger the prompt?
