When using YouTube I can't listen to music that curses or talks about weed without hitting "do you wish to proceed " for every song.

This means I can't listen to a playlist of rap music and clean my house.

It's pretty obviously racist. I know roku wants to decide what I can and can't watch but I don't appreciate it. This censorship is ridiculous.

I know roku is in bed with christo fascists when they removed access to porn channels. I didn't know they were in bed with white supremacists to block all rap music.

I don’t use it myself, but the Roku youtube app is written by google. There are thousands of apps on Roku and hardly any of them are written by Roku.  Quite a few of them are music-related so you might want to browse around and see if you prefer something else.

This behavior doesn't show up on any other platform I've used YouTube with including my phone, tv, computer, xbox or ps4

So google managed to code all those other apps without this behavior but somehow not on 1 device and only 1 device the roku

It seems more likely this is a result of roku policy at a minimum

I want to use YouTube the way I decide to use YouTube not the way roku wants or another app.

I don't need smart alex suggestions like use another app. Do you think I'm unaware other apps exist? 

I  use YouTube because it works on everything but roku because roku is racist and aligned with Christian dominionist fascists. This is why porn was removed. Pressure from rebranded Christian dominionist fascist groups like morality in media..

In the Settings section of the Roku YouTube app do you have Restricted Mode turned off?

I don't own any of those platforms anymore I do own a roku

Why doesn't the hardware I purchased do what I tell it to?

Telling me to use something else isn't an answer. This is insanity

I only own one thing that works and that's not a solution. The thing i bought should do what every other device that plays YouTube can do.

It's not a solution to say use something else. I OWN this roku it should play YouTube properly but Roku is in bed with white supremacist and Christian Dominionists.
