So I guess we are starting from scratch here.
It appears YouTube TV performed an update on the app as I was one of the people who was experiencing a pixel issue when navigating through the Home option. As of today, I am no longer having that issue.
The YouTube TV app is now white and says TV (similar to the regular Youtube app) instead of black.
I have a ticket opened with Google since April…
Here’s what it looks like after the new update…
Hi Jamadee
I have the same problem with my YouTube TV basic plan. I have Uninstalled the app, reinstalled and I have done so many resets. When I go in, it freezes the live TV and it's on all channels. Doesn't want to do any playback of recorded shows either. This has been ongoing for a year now on and off at times. I have dome software updates on my Roku and unplugged the TV etc. Please help.
Mine was so bad I could hardly see anything at times. Mine continued just like all the other people had complained about. The only way I cleared it up completely was buy a Firestick. Perfect now, and it wasn't that expensive. Hope that helps!
Hi @EreS,
Thanks for the first post to the Roku Community!
Did you restart your Roku device before re-installing the channel? That step is crucial when performing troubleshooting.
If you haven't tried the suggested order (remove > restart > re-install), we would recommend giving it a shot once again.
We also suggest restarting from the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.) > System restart.
Please let us know how it works this time, and we'll continue assisting you from there.
All the best,
Chel
