Is missing the episodes 1,2,3
Welcome to the Roku Community, @ondrovic!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Rest assured that we'll have our content team review and correct this.
We'll keep you posted once there are any updates available. Thank you for your kind understanding.
Best regards,
Carly
Also missing episode 11.
Many posts to this forum over a long time seem to indicate that the Roku Channel is not always able to license all episodes and/or seasons of some shows.
Your reply includes "we'll have our content team review and correct this." This info conflicts. Can this be "corrected"? Will we hear from the "content team"? (nothing here since orig post sev weeks ago)
Perhaps when you get specific queries for a specific show that is missing eps/seas, the content team checks and either they are found and added to the system? OR the content team has to contact the show licensor to try to get additional eps/seas., then they are added if procured licenses ?
I have watched shows here that might have a missing ep from middle of long season, but for this show (this first and only season ever) the first three episodes are missing. That is crazy. Starting on episode 4 would not provide any info/context, prior events that are certainly needed.
Why would someone want to even watch this?
Welcome, @macT.
We're grateful to have you here in the Roku Community.
Thanks for your additional report about the missing episodes of the Touching Evil series. Rest assured that we've already added this to our existing report to be reviewed by our content team.
As per the investigation, we currently don't have any updates/information yet, but we will surely keep you posted on any.
In the meantime, we appreciate your patience and kind understanding as we work on this.
Best regards,
Carly
@RokuCarlyjust wanted to touch base on this as it's been a couple of months since the missing content was reported. As of now 1/6/25 there are still only 9 episodes available so that means that 1,2,3,11 are still missing. Not sure how long these requests usually take.

Unfortunately, it seems to be pretty common with shows/series on Roku channel. I sometimes watch old shows that I saw as a kid in reruns, but I didn't see all of them in the order they were originally presented. Airwolf from the 80's is missing two episodes at the end of Season 3 and recently I found 17 missing episodes for Green Acres (from the 60/70's) in Seasons 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6. If Roku is going to present series on its channel, it should have all of the episodes, but like I previously mentioned, it seems to be pretty common that it happens for some reason (licensing maybe) or another.
@JWS9518couldn't agree more, just bums me out as it's the only place I have been able to find that has access to it.
@RokuTakashithank you. You might want to have someone in your software development team look into away to automate notification of this task. It wouldn't take any amount of work to periodically perform series checks and fire an email directly to your content team, as a preventative measure.
I agree that the whole season, all episodes should be available. If there is some kind of limiting of the licensing I suppose we are stuck with it. What I cannot understand is adding a new show's first/only season to Roku Channel WITHOUT the pilot episode and early eps. Longer seasons like 22eps you might not miss a few episodes here and there.
I don't want to skip the first 3 chapters of a novel, so why would anyone start watching a new (to them) beginning with episode 4?
Why was the show even added this way in the first place? Makes no sense at all, with or without licensing limitations.
This issue was originally posted here in late October 2024 with an update adding another missing episode on Nov 7, 2024
It's now 60 days later and still nothing. Just "we are working on a fix." A fix? for something that never should have occurred in the first place. Frustrating.
