Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime

Jump to solution

There’s a line that shows up in the middle of the TV only when I watch Thursday Night Football. I also get issues of buffering during commercials. The buffer happens so often that I get the network buffering message at the bottom of the screen. I know it isn’t a network issue because the other TV my son is using doesn’t buffer while he is watching movies on Netflix.

This issue has been consistent each week I watch Thursday night football.

Hi @Jlafourche@Wellhithere80,

Welcome, and thanks for posting to the Roku Community!

We understand that you are having an issue streaming Amazon Prime Video, and we would like to know how to identify and resolve any playback issues.

We recommend starting here to troubleshoot channel issues. Follow these steps in order:

  1. Navigate to the channel tile on the Roku home screen, press the * key on your remote, and choose 'Remove channel.'
  2. Next, restart your device from Settings > System > Power > System restart (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step).
  3. After your Roku device restarts, visit the Roku Channel Store and add the channel again.

If the issue persists, please refer to the Support article here for additional troubleshooting steps: How to resolve a channel playback issue | Official Roku Support

Please keep us posted on how it goes, and we'll continue assisting you from there.

All the best,
Chel

We have a Roku tv doing the same thing. The only thing that fixes it is to go out of the stream and go back in.
