Streaming using internet only

Are we able to stream using internet only?

When signing up for some of the apps, it asks for a supplier code. What does this mean exactly?

Thank you in advance for the answers.

Re: Streaming using internet only

Some cable service apps are TV Everywhere apps, and require a subscription to a TV service (cable, satellite, YouTube TV, Cubic, etc...) They are essentially OnDemand-like and we're originally for phones and tablets outside your home.

Apps for cable channels, often with the word Go, like CNN, Fox News, HGTV, Discovery. Some of the content can be found in subscription streaming services.
