Come on Roku. We know you are aware of this, please fix it. On the Home Screen, the search option will be there and then later it disappears and all we are left with is Home / Streaming Channels / Settings. Often it mysteriously reappears.
Others have had this problem and posted about it. Why don't you fix it?
I am using brand new 2024 Roku streaming devices at two different locations on two different tv's so it's not the device or the zip code.

I used to have a search box, too, and can no longer find it. I tried doing the System Restart you recommended, but that didn't change anything. I can still search using my phone app, but I can't do it directly on the TV screen with the regular remote. I used to be able to search for programs and you would show the available apps for that program. I would like to see this function restored to the home screen.

Below is a photo of my TV's home screen. I am sure there was once a "Search" option; I remember an on-screen keyboard coming up and I had to use the arrows on the remote to type what I wanted to search for. Using the app on my phone to search is easier, but I would also like to have the "search" option direct from the TV and remote if possible.
UPDATE: I did finally find a "search" option under the "Streaming Channels" option on the screen. However, it only wants "channel or game" for the input. Maybe I used that once to search for channels. On the phone, I can search for specific programs, and it shows what apps they are on. But I thought I could also do this directly from the TV. Am I mistaken? Thank you.

How to fix this? Since there is no apps of Disney plus and prime video.
