Roku channel home screen no longer shows search - Nov 6 11pm

The list on the left has always had a search option at the bottom, but it no longer is there.  How do I search for anything?  The app is up to date and restart does not bring the old screen with the search option back.

Thank you for reaching out for support. We understand that you are experiencing issues with the search option on your Home screen, which has suddenly disappeared. No worries! We're here to help you identify the cause.

Before we proceed, could you please let us know if you have changed your location? Did you update the location where your affected Roku device was activated? This could be one of the reasons for the issue, as Roku only supports a limited number of locations.

Furthermore, kindly provide us with a photo of what you are currently seeing on your Home screen for reference. This website will help you: How do I insert an image in a post

I haven't changed anything and it was usually there.  Don't know how to attach a photo, but here is what I see on the left if the screen when I click the Roku channel:

Home

Live TV

Premium

TV Series

Sports

Movies

Save List

Categories

Search

Magic!  Search is back today.  Yesterday there was one called Kids, now that's gone.  This home screen is very flaky. Sometimes Continue Watching disappears, then comes back if I power Roku off and power it back on.  Any idea why things seem to disappear, then come back?  This happens only on the Roku Channel, other channels are fine.,

Hi, @bjedrick.

Thank you for the additional information. Could you please try to check for any software updates on your affected Roku device? It's under Settings > System > Software update > Check Now

Tip: The System update screen displays the current software and build version, along with the date and time of the latest update.

After doing so, please let us know your current software version as well as your Roku device model.
