Re: IP camera viewer pro question

Yes, I know it's a long string. That's what I need, the exact, long string :).
If you can write it down some time and share it, I'll give it a try.

Thanks.

Re: IP camera viewer pro question

I am not near my tv

My point was that the program discovered that info and not me
The string is longer than the field in my screen shot and nothing I would have ever known to enter

What happens when you enter the IP and TCP port and then hit the discover button?

Re: IP camera viewer pro question

I've tried everything I could find online including discover which finds nothing.

If you 'edit' the string, you'll be able to scroll from start to end.

Re: IP camera viewer pro question

I have a 3rd fake Hikvision camera that I did not hook up yet

I will try that later and see how the setup goes

Re: IP camera viewer pro question

Thanks. Those two values are the only thing I need to try mine.

Re: IP camera viewer pro question

I set up my 3rd camera without any issues

First you go to a browser and set up the camera config
I assume you have already done that
Make sure your camera is on the network and you can access it via a browser

I went to the roku and set up the camera
Enter Camera name and description

Enter the IP
I Hit the discover button and all 3 of my cameras showed up in a list
I picked the correct camera by the IP

enter login and pwd

Then I hit the ONVIF Auto Config button and it gets the config info from the camera and fills out the stream url
The url is different than my other cameras and you do not need to enter anything there

Try all that and see how it goes

Two cameras have this url and the other one is different
/api/mjpegvideo.cgi?inputNumber=1&StreamNumber=1

Re: IP camera viewer pro question

Thanks but I also need the port. Is it 554?

I already posted that

It's 80 on my system

Re: IP camera viewer pro question

I tried your url with the rest of my own settings and nothing.

I tried Discover and the app finds nothing as usual.

I assume the port will be 554 which is what I used.

No idea why but none of my cameras work with this app.

I do appreciate your sharing this information, thank you.

Re: IP camera viewer pro question

Sorry, I should have edited that. Yes, I tried 80 and 554 after re-reading your info.
