Do you see anything that looks like a calendar or keys? Or the text "check-out" on the screen?

Banned but back. Because why not?

Roku accounts do not "expire". There is no charge to create and use a Roku user account and no cost to use a Roku device (TV or player). It sounds like you are on a specific channel/app that does require a subscription that has expired.

Welcome to the Roku Community, @Dummy3230.

It seems like you are having playback issues or no playback at all on your Roku TV. No worries! We'd like to know more about this and suggest some steps you could try.

In addition to what our Community Guro and Expert provided in the above post, is this happening on a specific app? If you are unable to access any apps and the error message says it's not connected, it means that your TV can't establish a network connection.

To help you connect to your network provider, kindly navigate to your Home screen. Scroll up or down to select Settings > Network > Set up connection > Choose wired or wireless

  • If you select Wired, your Roku device will automatically try to connect to the internet
  • If you select Wireless, select your network from the list of available networks

If you do not see your Wi-Fi network, select Scan again to see all networks, enter your password, and select Connect.

Here's our support article for more information about this: How to connect your Roku streaming device to the internet

Let us know if you need further assistance and clarification.

Best regards,
Carly
