I24 STILL WONT LOAD, WE RESTARTED OUR ROKU AN SYSTEM UPDATE, IT DIDNT HELP!!!
Hi @Cupcake74,
Welcome to the Roku Community!
We understand that your getting a playback issue with the i24 news channel and we appreciate the troubleshooting steps taken here. We would recommend to follow up some additional troubleshooting that might help cure the problem provided by our support page here: How to resolve a channel playback issue - Roku Support.
If the issue persists, we would recommend to contact the channel team directly and ask additional support. Please be aware that most of the channels on Roku are managed directly by the channel team itself.
You can contact them here at i24 News Contact us
Thanks,
Rey
I used to be able to watch i24 news live through the Roku app. Requires a subscription which I have. But it will not recognize the login credentials. When I enter them it says authenticating but then goes back to saying that h don’t have a subscription. Credentials are correct, I use them my phone and computer. Any ideas.
You need to contact the provider of that channel (www.i24news.tv). It's their app and only they can provide customer support for it.
Hi,
same issue I have a Samsung with an Apple TV box behind. Worked for years. My subscription works on other devices but no longer on TVs!
@mickaelsebban you're asking in the wrong place for a Samsung TV. While apps may look the same on different devices, they are completely different programming languages and have no similarity other than appearance.
Same thing here. My iphone works fine cant use Roku. Also the Roku site won't let me do auto renew. Think maybe Roku has joined the anti-Israel movement and no longer carries the station? I can't find it on the Roku search for news stations anymore.

The app on an iPhone is completely different than any Roku app, different programming languages. So it's immaterial if it works on a different device.
I just checked the Roku channel store on their web page, and i24News is listed. Sometimes news channels don't show up when searching that genre, so you simply look for the name. Roku is not anti-anything that I can tell, other than channels that don't meet their terms of use requirements.
It tells me i have a subscription but won't let me see live. The Roku webpage also says I have a subscription that is free til April 29th. But as I said wont let me auto-renew. I wrote to the email on the i24 news page and they gave me someone at I24 days ago. Heard nothing back. It is ok I will just watch it on my phone. Thanks
Same experience. No help from i24. I have to cast from phone or laptop to watch live on tv. small pain in tuches, but it is a good news source, Just wish they would respond or fix their app.
i24 “customer support” is useless, either responds irrelevantly or not at all. As far as I can tell their website (i24news.tv and video.i24news.tv) is no longer allowing for direct subscription purchasing, at least in the US. Roku app directs us to video.i24news.ORG to sign up but that does not even exist. Taking out a Roku-billed subscription via the Roku app results in Roku accepting it but the app is unable to link to it resulting in it returning the error message that you don’t have a paid subscription no matter what email address you use to log in. Definitely one of the most bizarrely dysfunctional Roku apps I’ve ever seen; you can currently see the live stream(s) for FREE via the website but not via the Roku app whether paid subscription or not only pre-recorded past streams available to watch there - on demand, for free. In iOS attempting to use AirPlay to “cast” the livestream from the website to the Roku is merely an exercise in futility, just produces some really bizarre and entirely useless results of the likes I’ve never seen anywhere else.
