New Roku commercial and others very annoying


I just thought I would post this to see what others thought and maybe we can get some feedback to Roku about how awful their new commercials are with all the people screaming and yelling about the remote. I have to mute my TV every time it’s came on and I have really been having second thoughts about purchasing a Roku TV. I was so in love with Roku and now I’m starting to fall out of love because the watching experience is awful with the commercials. Not only the new screaming one, which if I saw that, and I didn’t have a Roku TV, I wouldn’t even want one. And the other commercials are too repetitive and they’re always the same thing like one medicine or GLP1 commercial after another on and on and on. It’s torture!!

I think most would agree with you.  Roku needs to look for a new ad agency.

It seems that there is noone to contact at Roku, no doubt it is all automated. i do not like the unending repetition of their commercials and the "Live TV" is not, it is all prerecorded. I would like someone to intervene on this problem.

"Live" in streaming terms means receiving whatever the source's server is sending at a given time, take it ir leave it, whether it's live football or an old I Love Lucy.

This is opposed to "on demand" where you can choose what you want to view, decide when, and control its playback.
