I am getting some very inappropriate ads on the "top picks for you". I don't watch any form of **bleep**, or anything similar to these suggestions. A little research indicates that I can turn on "personalized ads" to get rid of these. I don't think I should have to allow that to prevent being subjected to these ads. It makes me want to get rid of my rokus.

Look under Settings/Home Screen. I don't see an entry for "top picks for you" on my Roku, but I also don't have that row at all. It may vary with the type of device. The closest I have is "What to Watch" and "Recommendation Rows", both of which I have off.

Re: Ads in "Top picks for you"
Actually I've enabled the sensitive ad content and turned off all categories and I'm still getting the perverse suggestions. How do I get rid of them? I really don't think "deep throat part 2" is an appropriate thing to be popping up. No pun intended.

Re: Ads in "Top picks for you"
We have been experiencing this exact same issue on our Roku streaming sticks. The "top picks for you" recommendations are littered with adult content, which means every time we go to the home screen we're treated to revealing or suggestive thumbnails.
Our Roku devices have never engaged with content like this, and in the 5+ years of using Roku we've never run into this issue before, but we started seeing these thumbnails almost exclusively within the last month. I understand why this content is available for users, but it is extremely annoying (to say the least) to fire up a Roku for casual entertainment and be met with thumbnails containing near nudity/suggestive poses.

Re: Ads in "Top picks for you"
I'm glad it isn't just me. We have only really noticed it in the past week. The funny thing this morning is that there were words in my previous that have been bleeped in these forums.
I'm including that as well as the ad preferences screens.
I've turned on personal ads...
And disabled everything but political ads.

Re: **bleep** Ads in "Top picks for you"
Just wanted to mention that the movies shown in the pictures are rated TV-14 and PG-13. Those static picture ads would probably be rated G, if they have ratings for such things.
As for this forum's silly bleeping, it probably still bleeps The **bleep** Van **bleep** Show.

Re: **bleep** Ads in "Top picks for you"
A show called "revenge p0rn" is unacceptable, and definitely not rated even PG-13.
