Welcome, @sanman05.

Thanks for reaching out here in the Roku Community!

We understand your inquiry regarding a charge from Roku fee for ESPN. Let us take a closer look at it.

Check where this subscription is on your Roku device, then look for the associated account by going to Settings > System > About. If you have access to this account, do the following steps below to cancel the subscription:

  1. Sign in to my.roku.com and go to My Subscriptions.
  2. Under Active subscriptions, select the subscription you want to cancel.
  3. Select Manage subscription and then select Turn off auto-renew. Turning off auto-renew means you've canceled your subscription and will not be billed for it in the future.

If the charges are not located after assessing the steps above, try checking the following to identify where these charges are coming from:

Check if this is...

  • A charge from a free trial for a streaming subscription service that you didn't cancel.
Remember, free trial subscriptions will automatically become paid subscriptions billed regularly. To avoid charges, you must cancel your subscription before the free trial period ends. If you no longer want the subscription and have been charged, you can prevent future charges by canceling the subscription.
  • A family member or roommate who shares your Roku device made a purchase without your knowledge. If you share your Roku device with others, it's a good idea to set up a Roku PIN to prevent unauthorized purchases in the future.
  • You may have more than one Roku account and have made the purchase or signed up for the subscription through a different Roku account. If so, you may not realize you're being charged for a subscription or getting charged twice for the same subscription.

After checking all the possible causes of the charges, if the charges are still not located, the best action to take is to contact our Accounts and billing team to dispute all these charges to your account.

We are hoping this information helps. Let us know if you need more assistance.

All the best,
Emman
