Billed after canceling NESN 360, via auto-renew shut off

Jump to solution

Three months ago I signed up for a subscription to a regional network via my Roku app. That network is NESN 360 (Boston).

One I realized I wouldn't get a promised "free month," I realized that Roku and Nesn pulled a bait and switch.

I immediately went to Manage My Subscription and canceled via Turn Off Auto-Renew. . Yes, I had to pay one month, understoo.

By now I've been charged three months.

Please solve.

Hi, @BigMike2.

Welcome to the Roku Community!

We appreciate you reaching us about getting charged even though you already canceled the subscription. We're here to help.

To stop getting charged again, you may turn off the auto-renewal.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to my.roku.com
  2. Go to My Subscriptions.
  3. Under Active subscriptions, select the subscription you want to cancel.
  4. Select Manage subscription and then select Turn off auto-renew
Turning off auto-renew means you've canceled your subscription and you will not be billed for it in the future.

Furthermore, you may also check this support article on how to turn off auto-renew and cancel a subscription

Hope this helps!

Reynan
