Same TV's, Different Live Antenna Channels

I have two identical TV's.  One is in a bedroom, the other is in the dining room.  They are both fed by the same antenna.  When I search for antenna channels, the one in the bedroom finds 90 channels and works great while the one in the dining room finds only 14 and most of those are pixelated.  I ran a temporary new coax cable from the splitter to the TV and rescanned.  That time it found 19 channels.  I disconnected the cable from the TV and rescanned.  It still found 19 channels without the antenna connected.  Do I have a bad TV?  I got it last January (2025).

Thanks!  I ended up swapping the two TV's.  The one that was getting 90 channels in the bedroom continued to get 90 channels in the dining room.  The one getting 14-19 channels in the dining room started receiving 47 channels in the bedroom.  Even though it's not getting as many channels there as the previous one, it's getting more than it did before.  And so far, it looks like it is receiving all of the channels I watch the most.  So I think I'll keep them this way for now.  I'll just keep an eye out for anything that changes.
