    Roku Ultra Audio Dropouts

My Roku Ultra, Model 4670X, has started experiencing brief persistent audio dropouts and skipping on movies with Dolby Digital / + / ATMOS soundtracks in the Fandango At Home (Vudu) app. I have not noticed the issue in other apps. My Roku did receive a software update on July 1st (Software Version: 14.6.4 Build: 9914). I'm pretty sure the problem started after that update. The movies play fine from the Fandango app on a Google TV Streamer. Other users are reporting the same issue at Reddit r/vudu.

Roku device factory reset itself after an update

Twice now in the last two weeks after what I assume were device updates, I've woken up to find that my streaming stick has been reset. It needs to re-recognize the TV, then I have to sign in to my account again, then I need to re-sign into any of the pay services I use (Netflix, Amazon, etc.). Additionally, it blows away all my favorites, which is great. I've had the stick for a few months now - is this the future I have to look forward to? If so, someone please let me know now. Thanks.

Roku TV USB Firmware Update - "Can't install older software"

TV model: Onn 50" Roku TV 100007147 Hardware ID: 7819X I'm trying to repair this TV after it quit displaying and image and got it to power on again after replacing the main board. The replacement board is identical but has firmware for a different TV model installed on it. The image is stretched with vertical lines which I believe is due to the incorrect firmware. The TV hardware appears fine but the current firmware is for a 70" model, which makes sense as to why the image is stretched out. I've loaded the correct update file from tvupdate.roku.com but am getting a message that says "Can't install older software version" "Your TV is running more up-to-date software. Installing older software is not allowed. Download a new file and try again." There is no error code. It just seems like the firmware version on the replacement board is newer than what's offered on the tvupdate site. I've seen a couple of other threads about this message but no useful information. What I'm looking for is a way to force install the firmware from USB or a newer firmware file that will install correctly. I'm very hopeful that the correct firmware would get the TV working correctly and keep it out of the landfill.

Black Screen after TV Power On / HDCP intermittent errors

I realize this is long but I feel like I am having very specific issues with my setup. I'm having pretty consistent issues with my Roku Ultra. Now I switched my TV out from a Samsung KS8500 to a LG B4 two months ago which is when I started seeing issues. I realize that this points to a TV issue but I'm not so sure. My setup is through an Onkyo AVR. I have PS5, PS4, Chromecast, Roku Ultra on the Onkyo. The only device that has any issues is the Roku. The AVR uses HDMI 1.4. I have two issues that are consistently reoccurring. First is I get a black screen when turning on the TV after a few hours. To resolve I have to unplug and plug in the HDMI from TV to AVR at the TV (most accessible connection). I use the Roku remote with HDMI CEC to power on so the AV switches to Roku automatically. I've power cycled the Roku in this state and the loading animation appears on TV and then reverts to black screen. Second I get an HDCP error intermittently when watching. Like it'll be fine for 20 minutes - 1 hour and then randomly the error screen pops up saying I should check my HDMI cable and then after a few seconds it goes away. I have tried different HDMI cables from AVR to TV as that is my longest run. I've tried new cables from 6ft, 20ft, 25ft which all result in same issue. I haven't tried the cable from Roku to AVR yet but that hasnt changed since I started having issues.

    Roku Ultra Endlessly Crashing

I have a Roku Ultra that I have had for less than a year. It has been acting up ever since we got it, but recently it has been stuck endlessly crashing. There is no rhyme or reason to it. It will crash on any app, any show, for any reason. We have tried the following: Plug the Roku Ultra directly into the wall instead of a power strip or the TV. Unplug the Roku Ultra for 30 seconds and plug it back in Pressing Home 5 times, then Up, then Rewind twice, then Fast Forward twice to reset it Multiple factory resets Multiple network resets Changing the settings of the type of TV to every kind, including 1080p and auto Using both an ethernet cable and wifi Uninstalling and reinstalling apps Nothing is working and it is crashing 10-15 times every time we turn it on, and it crashes around 10-15 more times after we get it up and running finally. This is extremely frustrating and it renders our Roku completely unusable.

    TCL Roku TV overheating issues

hope you can help me! From reviewing the forum it appears the overheating notification must be a fault with the TVs. I have a TCL 65RC630K 65 Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR QLED TV with Roku. I returned the first TV due to the notification in the first week. It was replaced with this TV and having read advice on the forums I found ensuring the fire stick was turned off at wall when Xbox was in use solved issue with warning. However in the last few nights we now have the issue that the warning is showing more frequently. The TV is on a stand away from the wall, not covered, plenty of ventilation and not in sunlight. I’ve read about people removing cover on bottom of TV However I do not have one. This is clearly a fault and I am now becoming concerned. We use a firestick however I also ensured this has an additional adapter so it’s not as close to the TV via HDMI. any advice is greatly appreciated. Especially as I can not afford a new TV

    One Account - Three TVs

I have two TVs in different rooms, each with a different Roku remote. I intend to buy a third TV with Roku. Can I have three TVs playing concurrently, separate programs or shows, with one Roku account?
