Roku TV Update 15.0.4 Breaks Brightness Settings"
After the Roku TV update 15.0.4, there's no change to the brightness settings (lowest, low, normal, etc.). I've already performed a factory reset, and the problem persists. I've tried contacting support, but they haven't offered a solution or acknowledged the issue. It's a real shame; I wouldn't recommend the Roku TV system at all. They don't listen to their users35Views1like1CommentRoku 65" 65R6AX volume and tuner issues.
Tv is a Roku brand 64R6AX . Purchased this tv to replace a TCL tv with roku platform. Have had less than a year. Lately you have to turn the volume very high to hear the sound. Most things in the 30s and 40s, some things the volume must be in the 70s to hear it. Another issue I have had from day one is the OTA tuner. This tv will glitch like it rewinds 3 to 5 seconds and plays the same picture and volume twice and sometimes 3 times. Also the sound lags from what's on the screen up to several seconds. The longer you watch something the worse it gets. This only happens on ota channels. It only happens on this tv. Not the one it replaced or any other tv I try in it's place so I think it's the tv and not the antenna wire, etc. Its getting worse and very annoying. Updates are up to date, I've unplugged many many times. Im to the point of replacing with something not roku. Every tv in my house has the roku platform. Love the platform but this tv is horrible.101Views1like7CommentsRoku TV freezing and apps crashing after update
I have a 40" 2025 Roku Select Series TV. After the updates on 10/28, it is constantly freezing up and exiting apps. I have to unplug the TV to clear it and it will work for 5-10 minutes and then start the cycle again. It started with the Plex app and last night it was doing it with Amazon as well. It was working fine before. I have another Roku TV in the living room and it is working fine, no issues. Any way to roll updates back?251Views1like9CommentsStuck on "Installing Final Updates" Screen on Roku Device
When I turn on the ROKU television, a message appears stating "Installing final updates." The circle of death turns for some unreasonable length of time and then the screen message states that the set cannot connect to the WiFi. It then tells me how to go about connecting and all of that before asking me to restart the TV, After taking all appropriate steps and restarting--something I am very familiar with and with which I have never had a problem--I am returned to the first screen stating the set is installing final updates. And just for giggles, despite the message and the circle of death's best efforts, the message also states that 0% progress has been made on the supposed installation. Has anyone encountered this? Can anyone help me? Please? Thanks so much, CNMoore854Views1like5CommentsOnn Roku TV, Screen display issue
I just bought this ONN Roku tv over the weekend and the screen is already messed up somehow. Bought it on Saturday, it worked great from then until this afternoon when I went to turn it on. The screen just started flickering. The screen will flicker like this for about 2 seconds then go back to normal for about 4/5 seconds then flicker again. I have gone through all of the steps to try and fix the problem and nothing worked.57Views1like2CommentsTv's sound going out then freezing then crashing and restarting
My brand new Roku tv will not work. I can turn it on and on the home screen it's fine but if I watch something or try and play a game on it for more then 10 minutes the sound will cut out the screen will freeze and the tv will reset itself, I've tried everything and I can't get it to work is there any way to fix it?95Views0likes5CommentsSame TV's, Different Live Antenna Channels
I have two identical TV's. One is in a bedroom, the other is in the dining room. They are both fed by the same antenna. When I search for antenna channels, the one in the bedroom finds 90 channels and works great while the one in the dining room finds only 14 and most of those are pixelated. I ran a temporary new coax cable from the splitter to the TV and rescanned. That time it found 19 channels. I disconnected the cable from the TV and rescanned. It still found 19 channels without the antenna connected. Do I have a bad TV? I got it last January (2025).79Views0likes4CommentsRoku TV Power Issue: Remote Works Intermittently
I often am unable to turn my Roku tv on with the provided remote. It turns the tv off instantly, but sometimes requires using the phone app to turn it on. Occasionally, the remote does work to turn the tv on. Replaced batteries, rebooted tv, still no improvement. TV is less than a year old.134Views1like3CommentsSetting Up Roku Without Entering Credit Card Information
When I moved into my new home recently and tried to set up internet and streaming services, my recently purchased Roku tv worked fine using my antenna, but when the cable tech tried to get it set up for me, it asks for my credit card number and additional information and he said there is nothing he can do to get it set up until I resolve this issue. I can not have my tv held hostage by Roku because I do not want to provide my credit card information. What do I have to do not to waste the money that I spent purchasing this tv?Solved841Views1like7Comments
