One remote button barely works

I have the same problem. I just tried re-pairing and I probably wear out the batteries having to press so hard.

        We would like to collect the following information to assist you further with this issue.

        1. Serial number of the Roku player this remote is paired to.
        2. Is this the remote that came with that device? If not, kindly specify if this is a Voice Remote Pro or Voice Remote Pro (2nd edition).
        3. When and where did you purchase this?
        Additionally, please try resetting your remote and inform us if the issue persists. To reset the remote, press and hold the Back/pairing button and the Home button simultaneously for about 20 seconds.

    I have tried everything you suggest multiple times…to NO avail.The right arrow key will NOT work on the remote. once in a while you can squeeze till your hand hurts (more then 30:sec) and it MIGHT work…

    Defect remotes they need replacing….your fixes are nit fixes…they dont work to solve the problem!

  • I received a Roku Ultra 2024 with a rechargeable remote and the right button is already barely working. I need a solution or a replacent, properly functioning remote sent to me.

  • I am having the same issue with my right arrow on my remote.  I have been using my iPhone mobile remote,  but need this fixed so my husband can use remote when my phone is not available to him.

      • What steps have you taken to fix the issue? (For example, changing the batteries, restarting the system, updating software, etc.)
      • When and where was this remote purchased? Did it come with the Roku device?

        Thanks for your offer to help.

        - I assume the model is the SKU # on the box, which is RCA1RW.

        - The right arrow button works only intermittently after several hard pushes, all other buttons work fine.

        -My Roku Voice Remote (with TV controls) was purchased from Walmart Sep 2023, for use with my Roku Express since its remote does not have the voice or volume buttons. 

        -I have tried shutting the system down, restarting and reconnecting, and also putting in new batteries, but that has not helped.   Any help you can provide the fix the problem is greatly appreciated.

  • Two different Roku voice remote and both have the same problem with the red arrow button, not working or working very very difficulty after multiple presses. I’ve tried all the suggested fixes here. Anything else I should try or can I get new remotes?.

        I love how y'all are replying to only a few messages in the thread full of people with the same problem. It's obviously a known problem. No amount of trouble shooting on the user's part will solve it.
