Roku TV Plus series powering off unprompted.
This happens whenever our Roku tv is being "woken up" from being in sleep mode. I'll click a random button on remote to wake it and it does open to the home page. The next button press of any kind causes the tv to immediately power off. It then can turn back on and works fine. Why is it doing this?Solved52Views1like3CommentsAll Roku tvs disconnecting from wifi within min of connecting.
Hi! I searched earlier questions posted about Roku TVs disconnecting from WiFi and followed every single suggestion all the way down to having T-Mobile send me a new router. I have 4 Roku devices and 1 fire tv(the oldest tv in the house) Only the Roku TVs are disconnecting from the wifi. Then when trying to reconnect it takes an hour up to a day of the TVs being unplugged for it to reconnect to only disconnect minutes later. I’m on 2.5g with DFS disabled, factory reset multiple times, and I’m at my wits end. I’m ready to throw these TVs out and never buy Roku again. Please help this frustrated not tv watching women out. That’s frustrating. A black screen on these TVs is often a backlight failure or main board issue. Try the flashlight test (shine a light on the screen to see if the menu is faint), and do a full power reset by unplugging for 10 minutes and holding the TV’s power button. If sound still plays, it’s usually the backlight. Sadly, repairs often cost close to a replacement.121Views1like6CommentsMy Roku TV turned off and will not turn back on
My television shut off last night while I was watching it. It is not the power. The LED light is on and I tried different outlets. It is not overheating. I thought it might be at first, but I left it overnight and it is much cooler today. There are two steady red LED lights. All cables are secure and in good condition. I removed and replaced them all. It is not my internet connection. All other devices are fine. I also tried the rest button but it did nothing.Solved75Views1like1CommentDoes Roku TV work with OLED TVs
Anyone know if Roku is planning to offer OLED TV's at some point. I purchased a 75" Plus series about a day after Roku began offering their own TV's. Before I consider upgrading to the new Pro series, I'm interested in knowing if OLED might be offered in the future.Solved56Views1like2CommentsError 009

Unable to unlink old TV or link new TV
In the Google Home app I am trying to add my new Roku TV. Here are the steps I have taken where it does not show up: I open the Google home app Devices menu Add Works with Google Home Home Control menu shows list of connections already connected. I have Xbox and SmartLife. I use the search magnify glass to search for "Roku". No results appear. I also tried scrolling down to look for it without using the search function. Roku is not an available "Works with Google Home" connection to use I am using a Google Pixel 9 Pro XL. Please advise.129Views1like2CommentsSwivel tabletop VESA stand for Roku Select 43
I just bought a 43 inch Select that I am going to place in a small entertainment cabinet. Unfortunately, the included feet won’t keep the TV stable if I have to swivel it out to reach cables or power plugs. (With DIshTV box, soundbar, DVD player, and power strip in the same cabinet, I often have to reach behind the TV to adjust something.). I therefore need a more sturdy means of keeping the TV upright if I have to swing out one end to reach behind it. Amazon stocks a bunch of VESA desktop mounts that supposedly can hold a 43 inch set with 300 X 300 VESA mounting, but nearly all have tempered glass bases and a handful of 1-star reviews from owners whose TVs were destroyed when the glass bases suddenly shattered into tiny pieces, causing the TVs to hit the floor. I guess I would prefer something with a metal base but I am not having luck finding it. I also have very little vertical clearance under a non-adjustable shelf on which the DVD player and settop box reside. The mount therefore needs to be able to mount the set so that its bottom edge is no more than a couple of inches above the base. Can any of you recommend a tabletop stand that will meet my needs? If you have one with a tempered glass base, is there anything about the base to which I should pay special attention? Thanks for any help you can offer.33Views1like0Comments
