Need part number for replacement remote
One week after installing my new roku ultra, my dogs chewed up the remote. It worked for a whole, but now it only works when it is plugged in ( usb charged). I can't seem to find the part number for the remote that works with the ultra AND is usb charged. I can find a battery powered one, but not the usb. If it is why more $ I will just got a battery powered one, but it would be nice to have the usb charged one as that is correct and more convient than batteries.
Remote Ease of Use for Disabilities
My mom spends a lot of time watching TV. We recently replaced her regular TV and external Roku device with a Roku smart TV. She lacs fine motor skills due to her disability and struggles with the small Roku remotes. In particular for her is the volume buttons which are on the side of the remote. Does anyone else experience a similar challenge and what have you done to combat this?
Voice Search Not Working
The voise search, or any voice function suddenly stopped working. I already tried recommended troubleshooting, remote and player reset, battery change etc. Is there a way to check microphone of remote if it's working like input level indicator just to make sure it's not the hardware? Most computers have it. It's just frustrating. Hi, I have a Sonos Ray, connected to tv by ony optical cable. Can't control the Sonos Ray volume via optical out of TV (thats the limitation of Optical). Only Infrared coming from remote to control the Sonos. Is there a way to use the included Remote (voice remote) on this Roku streaming stick to control both the stick and the IR only Sonos Ray? We have an RC 880 voice remote pro purchased about a year ago. In the last couple of months I've started getting low battery warnings flashing on the TV screen, often followed a few seconds later by another indication that the battery is charged. Sometimes it will go back and forth several times saying low battery, then for example 75% charged, then low battery again... I have tried (4 times) resetting the remote by pressing and holding the power and back buttons. I've rebooted the TV. Read a couple dozen similar reports here, and tried all the troubleshooting tips on the Roku help pages. There are no other remotes paired with the TV. Because of the conflicting battery level messages on the screen, seems like a bug in the remote software, or defective wiring, sensor, or battery. Whatever it is, it's very annoying, and not something I would expect from relatively new OEM top of the line (and rather pricey) device. Roku support: what can be done? Thanks!
