Floodlight camera stopped working after last firmware update
I've had a floodlight Cam for many years now. It is the only one cam that has worked consistently well over the last 4 years (I have 10 other cams). But Roku had to mess it up. The firmware was updated a couple weeks ago and now the floodlight has stopped working and the floodlight settings have been removed from the app, so I can't even manually turn the light on or off anymore. I am so frustrated with Roku security systems. They release **bleep** app updates and cam updates and it always screws things up for a month or more until they debug it. They don't ever let us know that they are making changes before hand, so sometimes you don't know you have a problem for weeks after their poorly executed updates. I'm seriously going to look into a whole new company to use. There must be someone better than this.14Views0likes0CommentsSmart light won't activate for sleep routine
It worked initially, but randomly stopped. I can manually turn the light on through the app, but it doesn't activate at the time (verified to be the correct days at the correct time) I have it set to for the sleep routine. App has been un and reinstalled, app is up to date, light firmware is up to date. Lamp is plugged in and functional, Internet is connected and of good quality. Any tips?52Views1like3CommentsSmart Bulb SE color goes offline after a few hours
Hello, I’m new to these bulbs and have only had them for about a week but they seem pretty straightforward and easy to use. I have 6 total. 4 are in two different groups and then 2 other bulbs are in separate rooms so on my app I have 4 separate groups/bulbs. When they are online, they work nicely. I finally got a routine to work last night for sunset which was nice. I wanted to get the sunrise/wake up routine working in my kids room, but overnight all 4 sets of bulbs went offline. This happens every day. The bulbs stay online for a few hours but then once something like 4-5 hours goes by the bulbs all show offline and are useless unless I turn the light switch off and then back on again and leave the lights on for a while. Is there a setting to make the bulbs never go offline? My internet at home is great and that isn’t the issue. Tried all the normal ideas but I’m not going to factory reset these bulbs daily and go through all the renaming and adding to groups process constantly. Would really like these to just work. They should always be online as long as the light switch is turned on. I also have them connected to Alexa and again, once they show as offline it renders voice prompts useless. They shouldn’t be going offline.208Views1like12CommentsSmartBulbs, SmartLightStrips, SmartPlugs - schedules stopped working
Have 2 each: color bulbs, light strips, indoor plugs. Have had on dusk/dawn schedules for number of years working flawlessly. About a week ago, all device schedules stopped working but was able to control via home screen. Have since deleted app and devices and set everything up again, except the bulbs, which will not show in app. Plugs and strips are set up, but not working per schedules, and unable to toggle off/on from home screen. Any ideas?54Views1like3CommentsLed+ strip problems with connecting
I have tried to get hold of anyone at Roku for the past month or so. My light strips that I have had for not even a year or so. Will not connect even though they have always been connected and never had problems and they are also right next to the router. I have only ever been able to contact one person from Roku support chat no one else has helped the only information I got from the last person was to sign in and out of my device while closing it in sign back in and yet it has been about a month and it's not working and I'm having the same problem constantly and no matter who I call or contact. I cannot get anyone to contact me back. Seems like a legit scam and a waste of money here if you can't get a hold of anyone and can't get a refund or any support.Solved637Views0likes1CommentSmart Light Bulbs keeps on failing to sync
I completely and totally regret buying the "smart" light bulbs. Not only does the app continuously "fail to sync" to the lights, I have often had to delete and remove the devices from the app, then redownload the app and constantly trying again. After that, the lights will work for a few times and then BOOM, app failing to sync yet again. Zero Internet issues at home because every other device in my house works just fine without failure. These lights need to be recalled and reevaluated or something. Whatever needs to be done, ROKU needs to address this. And according to the app reviews on Google Play, this is a widely distributed issue. Sorely disappointed in ROKU.904Views0likes3CommentsSmart light strip randomly turns on when I have them off
I bought the 32 ft smart light strip +SE a week ago. Hooked it up, plugged it in, connected it to the app on my phone, and all was well. Then suddenly, two days ago, the light strips started just randomly turning on when I have them off, off when I have them on, changing colors, flickering between colors, and generally going nuts. I do not know what is going on with it. I’ve tried resetting the lights, reinstalling them, etc., and they just keep randomly turning on and off for no reason. The instructions say Bluetooth is needed, but I never had a Bluetooth request for the lights, never found them in my Bluetooth, and have no idea why I need Bluetooth for them.
