Roku Subscription cannot access the contents
I bought a monthly sub last night. Turns out the app was a useless scam. I have lost track of the number of times I have bought a sub or an app only for it to have no content, or not even load at all. In the past, Roku has been good with refunds, so I knew that if I was scammed that at least I would get my money back. However, things have changed. They refused to give me a refund, so basically if customers are scammed in the future they just need to cut their losses? This in an insane and anti-consumer policy. Ebay has buyer protection. Pretty sure PayPal does as well. Don't most reputable companies provide refunds in the event that their customers are defrauded? What makes this even more unacceptable is that Roku does not vet their developers. Literally anyone can upload an app on Roku and steal a person's money and apparently not even face any consequences. Virtually all of the apps that screwed me in the past on Roku are still active on the platform. Some have been up for over 3 years!!!! Why does Roku not have a Quality Assurance team that screens every app that is uploaded on the platform to ensure that it is legal, functional, and that it provides the content that it promises its customers? If that isn't bad enough, the agent that I spoke to changed the PIN on my account without my authorization and without even consulting me after we spoke. When I tried to install an app afterwards I wasn't able to, and had to log into my computer and account to add a new PIN manually. Terrible and unethical customer service. I have similar issues on my Roku Ultra. I started 5 new channels subscription from a Black Friday Promotions. My roku account show the channels are active. I reset my password prior to starting the 5 new subscriptions. My new password did not sync up with the Roku App on my LG TV AND the new subscriptions. When I launch a new channel, for example ParamountPlus, The channel asks me to sign-in. It does not launch to the profile splash screen. The channel says I am already signed-in asks me to Log-out. The new subscriptions are in Limbo. The will not launch into the programming on the TV App. I do not know how to contact a live agent on the support page. Is this a recurring problem for other people? It’s an auto renewed subscription that stops working about 3 times a year. The app goes to the log in or sign up page rather than the usual streaming options once in the app. After logging in it recognizes the paid subscription using the Roku and says “you can start streaming immediately” yet doesn’t leave the sign in page. I tried to fix the problem by doing a factory reset of my Roku fire stick and that did absolve nothing to fix the problem. Any suggestions?552Views0likes1CommentSpectrum Channels not Working again!

Trying to sign into ESPN on my Roku. It keeps automatically logging me into the WRONG Xfinity account. I need to be able to log out and log back in manually so I can enter the correct credentials. Every time I go into the Roku Channel, and want to look through some of the movies offered, I'll play the trailer for one, no problem. Sometimes another one, maybe two, will play, but usually it only takes playing one, before no other trailers will load! Not only that, but even when I try to play the movie, nothing happens! Well, nothing but that 99% within the arrow going in circles! That's all, no trailer, no movie, just the 99% & endlessly circling arrow! I usually have to do a system restart, and sometimes will also reset my wifi connection, and then it will work. But even when I do that, I still will only be able to play one trailer, and then no others will work! This is really getting old, and is incredibly frustrating, what the heck is going on, why can't features just work as they're supposed to? Plus, sometimes, even the Roku live channels won't work, I click on a channel, and the description shows at the bottom, but no picture, no sound, nothing at all!
