Following up on my Roku device not finding my wireless network any longer (started last Friday night).

Per request, reposting the information:

My issue is now resolved!  I worked with Verizon and we had to change the channel on the router's 2.4GHz band.  Once that was done, my Roku Express was able to connect.

Please answer the following questions so we can get a better understanding of what you are seeing

  1. Have you ensured your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network for the device to connect to? Some Roku devices are only compatible with wireless b/g/n networks on the 2.4 GHz spectrum.
  2. Have you tried changing the wireless broadcast channel on the router to see if this will allow your device to connect?
  3. Have you tried moving the device closer to your router to see if you can get connected?
  4. How long have you been experiencing this problem?

Hello @LoriH!

After multiple things which all failed, I needed to change the router’s broadcast channel for the 2.4GHz signal. Once I did that, all was good again.

I believe @RokuMary-F also mentioned trying that in her reply.

If you don’t know how to do that, your ISP (internet) provider should be able to help you out.
