Thank you. I changed the cord. No effect.
After about an hour of letting it sit on the title screen and restarting itself every 30 sec. it went into a hard reset without me doing anything.
Now I am having troubling logging into internet.
Hi @WertzTV,
Thanks for posting here in the Roku Community.
We're sorry to hear about this experience, and we'd like to help. Have you already re-activated your Roku device that went into hard reset? Also, we recommend trying to connect to an alternative network such as a mobile hotspot to see if you're able to connect or reset your modem/router.
Please keep us posted.
All the best,
Kash
Thank you.
It froze at the log in screen and is back at reset loop.
The remote has no effect.
I have two networks, so I could have tried an alternate, but I can't get to that screen.
Thanks for the update, @WertzTV!
We'll take it from here. I have sent a PM for further assistance.
Thanks,
Rey
This happens from time to time on my Roku Ultra (it's actually happening right now). It's plugged directly into the wall for power, and I'm using an ethernet cord instead of wireless. Whenever this happens I just unplug it, and leave it unplugged for an hour or so, and when I come back it works again. Cruddy software, and they've known about it forever since I've had this for years, and there's been no fix. If Roku weren't so great I'd be tossing it in the garbage as well, but it happens rarely enough that I just put up with it until it dies and then I'll probably pick a different streaming device that actually gets updated with fixes.
Hi @Streamer1234,
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. This is not what we aim for.
May we know if you're currently having this issue with your Roku Ultra? How about on your streaming stick?
Please let us know; we'd like to investigate this one.
Regards,
Janadee
