Our says the same thing. Except the instructions on the TV says it needs a USB device to make it work. The ONN smart TV Roku cost $80 at Walmart. Our other two smart Roku TVs don't need USB. My guess is it's a cheap TV without the built-in extras. We don't know if it's going to work.

I have done ALL OF THESE SEVERAL TIMES! It’s not working. I’m going to return this TV! Seems like this is a KNOWN issue and NO ONE knows how to fix it! DO BETTER!
