New wifi and remote not working

I stopped using my roku tv a while back because the remote wasn't working and new batteries didn't help either. Now I'm trying to use it again and connect through my phone but I recently changed my wifi router so my phone can't detect the TV. What's the best thing to do to get my TV connected to my new wifi?

Re: New wifi and remote not working

You either have to configure the new Wi-Fi to match the last network the TV was connected to (same SSID/network name and password) or get a physical remote.  There's no way to use the app until the TV and the phone are connected to the same network.  If the TV has an Ethernet connector, you may be able to use a wired connection and then use the app to get it connected to Wi-Fi.
