A device won't have an IP address until it actually connects to a network and is issued one.
What is it you're trying to do?

Hi @salyergonzalez,
Welcome to the Roku Community!
After reading your short note, I understand that you are inquiring on how to obtain your IP address, is that correct?
Can you please provide us with additional information about your inquiry, are you trying to manually link the Roku mobile app to your Roku device?
If your Roku device is connected to a wireless network, you can find the IP address of your Roku device by going to Settings > Network > About.
Keep us posted and we'll continue assisting from there if needed.
Best regards,
Mary

Hi everyone,
Thanks for posting in the Roku Community!
If your Roku player is in use and it is connected to your TV, you can open the Settings menu using the steps below to find information about your Roku player including your IP address.
You can also find the IP address of your Roku device by going to Settings > Network > About.
I hope you'll find this helpful info. Let us know in case you've still got any questions.
Best regards,
Mary
I'm having the same issue. How can you follow the instructions below if you don't have the remote? How do you obtain the IP address to link manually without the remote?
