Yes this is a similar issue for me using an Walmart brand onn Roku TV with Apple Airplay, have to restart once a week to get the iPad to successfully reconnect to the Airplay
works for now until they send another update.

I have the same problem with a Roku Stick. Plugged into a TV and powered through a usb port on the TV. It just started doing this in the last couple of weeks. I have had it connected this way for several years with no problem. I have tried a factory reset and a system restart with no effect. I suspect there was a firmware update that started this problem.

I am having the same problem! I've had my roku tv for about a year now, and it has always worked fine, but now suddenly, I have to system restart it every time I turn it on to get it to connect to wifi.
Both of my tv's are now doing this. Every time I want to watch TV I have to unplug the TV, plug it back in and turn it back on. This is ridiculous!!!!! It is NOT the Wifi as my phone NEVER loses signal

I did the factory reset. No issue after that. But it is annoying to sign in all your apps after but I didn’t have that issue ever since.
