I plan buying a samsung galaxy s24 plus as my first wifi 7 device. But, my ISP Verizon fios doesn't have a WiFi 7 router yet.
Roku plus series TVs have wifi 6 adapter. Plus series TVs hit the market last spring.
Roku Pro series TVs are coming out. Pro series TVs start under $1500.
There is no mention of whether the pro series TVs have wifi 6 or 7.

And it bears repeating: All of these devices are designed around third party media chips. Until WiFi 7 is available in those, you are unlikely to see most any consumer level device have it.
I am in process of trading in my Samsung galaxy s21 for a galaxy 24+ with with wifi 7. My new device will be here on the 16th of February.
The S24+ is a high-end flagship phone that lists for over $1000, and often have deep discounts with expensive contracts to services. Roku's are general consumer devices with no big contract discounts, so price matters.
You say it is high end, which is not accurate. This is a middle tier phone that I only have to pay for sales taxes. Verizon is the cheapest wireless carrier. I have been with Verizon, so long I $45 off of my bill every month.
The list price for an unlocked 128GB S24+ is $800. That is the cheapest version. It's $860 for 256GB. It goes sharply up from there as you have to get the Titanium. It tops out at $1660 for 1000GB.
You are paying a subsidized price on a Verizon locked phone. Try to cancel or change service during your contract, and will owe them a lot of money.
Verizon wireless has 60 day unlock policy.
Interesting timing: I just received an email from Best Buy advertising the Galaxy 24. The lowest price is $22.22 per month for 36 months, which equals $799.92. That's for Verizon. AT&T is a penny per month higher. Both of those are the basic model 24, not the Plus. Cash price for an unlocked phone starts at $799.99 and goes to $1659.99.
Not what I would label a mid-level phone, even at the lowest trim. Buy I can't say an iPhone is any less expensive either. The basic iPhone 15 with 128GB of memory is $20.27 per month (new line) with AT&T, $23.05 on Verizon (both 36 months) or $829.99 direct purchase. I will say the top price for the iPhone 15 Pro Max is $1499.99 (new line). That was a surprise, seeing the top Samsung more expensive than the top iPhone.
Those prices don't price shock me one bit. I have 3 kids. So, I am used paying for their cell phones, Xbox, and Playstation for years. Every one of my kids has a Roku TV too. I enjoy electronics too.
